Day Garson-Darmet

New York City born Day Darmet was given her first Betty Crocker Cookbook at age 4 and her love of cooking took off from there. While living in LA, Day owned and operated two restaurants and catering companies where she was the chef, featuring seasonal foods before the idea was popular.
In 1990, Day moved to Lyon , France where she studied regional cooking and met up with acquaintance, Florence Raynaud.
In 1993, after moving to San Francisco , Day became the catering director for several large corporate catering companies. Having mastered the catering business, she partnered up with Florence Raynaud to begin the event planning company, Daily Plan It, during the dot.com era where they planned, catered and created incredible parties, corporate events and rages. Day is equal parts creativity and workhorse. Her creativity is expressed by her distinctive and appealing point of view in her choice of recipes and unique party ideas. She truly loves what she does and looks forward to every day at work.
In 2002, Day and Florence developed and created Day Darmet Catering Corporate and Private Events.

Florence Raynaud

Born in Saint Etienne , France – the ex-capital of the French bicycle industry, Florence studied and then practiced Law in nearby Lyon, but always had an underlying enthusiasm for design, business, food and a desire to live in America . This zeal later found its perfect expression in event planning and catering.
Florence moved to San Francisco in 1993 where, following her passion, she began to work for corporate caterers and event planners working along side Day Darmet. This collaborative business relationship became the foundation for their next joint projects.
In 1994 Florence had the opportunity to create extraordinary events for Fortune 500 companies who wanted to thrill and excite their clients in dot.com decadence style. She excelled at designing themed parties and her love for this industry led to Day’s and Florence ’s first partnership, Daily Plan It – Event Planning.

Day Darmet Catering

Florence’s business savvy and eye for stylish design and Day’s mastery of boutique catering with meticulous attention to the customer’s needs made them ready for their next endeavor.

So in 2002, with years of successful catering and event planning experience behind them, Florence Raynaud teamed up once again with Day Darmet to create a company that would incorporate outstanding food with brilliant design to craft a truly unique event that communicates the clients ideology.

Day Darmet Catering creates an environment that delivers food within a buzzy ambiance that creates their clients’ individual expression.
